I love this plugin, but it doesnt seem to work with the “thumbnails for excerpts” plugin (when thumbnails is active, I loose all excerpt formatting). Is there another way to add excerpt thumbnails that would not conflict with Advanced Excerpt?

How come i can’t embed video with this plugin even when i have setting “Don’t remove any markup” set to on ? I would like to embed video and i don’t see why i cannot do this ?

This feature is included in WordPress itself. You must use the_content() template function instead of the_excerpt() template function (which is the one that Advanced Excerpt hooks into). Refer to this Codex page for details.

Is it possible to use the tag as the excerpt separator rather than counting characters or words? If not, could I add this as a feature request?

Install version 3.1 if you haven’t already. Disable the remove shortcodes setting and enable all HTML tags (there is a convenient checkbox for that, too).

Although I don’t recommend using shortcodes in excerpts at the moment, this may work for you.

I’m trying to include an audioplayer shortcode in the excerpt, but the code shows up instead of the player. any ideas?

Hi all,
I’m developing a solution for the lack of link-to-post requests.
I use a checkbox options for choose the link to be used or not.

I would release it soon, but I have a problem while trying to implement a multilanguage link-text output, like:
__("Read me", $this->text_domain);

Infact the plugin has $this->text_domain as textdomain and it give me an error: trying to use $this outside context
if I try to use the specified context.

Actually it work only if a leave the text-link without translation…

Any suggestion about this?
