Hey Bas, great plugin, truly!

Question: How can I NOT override my the_excerpt by the_advanced_excerpt. Right now it messes up my excerpt which I must use for the slider.

Any help is much appreciated.

First, I really like this plugin (used it for http://www.renewfabrics.com) . I have two suggestions, though:
- there should be an option to have the “read more” links as a nofollow (see code of renewfabrics) to avoid having the same ‘keyword’ reference to multiple pages
- on another website I’m working for, elisbaettalombardo.com, I actually wanted to use the plugin, but I want the ‘continue reading’ text there to be always in the next line – unless I’ve understood something wring, there is no validating possibility to have a linebreak before the text (I could include it in the ellipsis, but I don’t find that too elegant). It would be great if there was a non-link part of the “read more”-text for these purposes as well.

Thanks for this plugin. It is pretty sweet. One suggestion, it’d be nice if the plugin could add a Read More link to Custom excerpts automatically. I’m having a heck of a time adding them in my functions.php.

Yes, I would like br’s and p’s stripped, but it is not doing that. I’ve tried selecting and deselecting the configuration options, but they don’t work. I’m still on WP 2.7 because of an upgrade issue. Maybe when I upgrade WP, this problem will go away.

It seems to be ignoring my parameters. For example, I can make length=1 or length=20, but it still truncates the post at the same place.

How do I write my own little paragraph and have that be the excerpt displayed? I understand that it’s a custom excerpt, but where do I put it? Is it a “custom variable?”
