When I’ll buy a notebook, it will definitely be one of Dell’s Ubuntu-compatible ones. (When they come to Europe, that is.)

I think it’s just completely awesome that Dell took the jump into ‘consumer open-source.’ Just read the blogosphere buzz if you don’t believe me. (Yes, I am too thrilled with excitement to write a decent post about it myself.)
