Programming languages I want to learn…

This is what just occurred to me: some programming languages that I don’t know now, but want to know in the future and hopefully will, too.
There we go:

C/C++, the programming languages I know at the moment are all based on similar syntax, so it shouldn’t be too hard to get the hang of these two. The main reason why I want to learn them is because they are so much more powerful than languages such as Java, PHP and the others that use similar syntax.
I already figured out the basics some time ago, but I haven’t really written any good software with it. So I guess I’ll start with some practical, but simple problems to practice.

Ruby and Python are, from what I have heard, really flexible languages. I know nothing about them, except for the fact that they are interpreted. I suppose they are less powerful than C or C++, but that, of course, depends on their implementation. I find the syntax quite interesting though; it doesn’t look that complicated, so maybe it turns out to be very convenient.

Anyway, I can’t wait to get started, but I’ll have to find some time first.

PS: I’ll get an article + photos about my new computer online this week or so. Please remind me, or I’ll forget. :P
