It’s been a while

So, yes, I’m sorry about that.

I am still working on quite a few things. Things that have already changed include: the name, the header image, a few layout tweaks. The most notable tweak is of course the feature to move the sidebar to left or right (Logan, check that out! ).
Things that still have to be done: my awesome portfolio (will be outside of this whole blog-thing), reorganisation of all kinds of pages and links.

In other news: I recently started using portable apps. This was a logical consequence of the fact that I got a 512 MB USB stick a few days ago.
I am taking computer science classes (Dutch: informatica) at school this year and I was a little frustrated by the fact that the school doesn’t own any software that has syntax highlighting for more than just one language.
Solution: use a portable app.
Obstacle: there are very few portable editors (most of which I don’t like).
Mission: take a good editor (jEdit) and make it portable!

Today I finished something that actually looks somewhat portable. I call it jEdit Portable, obviously.
Anyway, I have no idea how well it will actually work when carried around to all kinds of different computers. But since I’m pretty confident I’ll attach it to this post for all the world to download and try.
